words from my journal…

words from my personal journal

I am sharing with you again words from my journal. personal words that reflect my heart.
because these words are from my journal, there is no rules, grammatical rules, punctuation, sentence structure, or story outline..
just my words, my heart…

It’s late

Like 10:45pm late
I’m tired, burned out, and ready for some sleep
But before i can fall asleep, I need to be filled with Jesus

Today’s devotional starts bold and strong

  • Above my problems
  • Above my tiredness
  • Above my pain
  • Above my schedule
  • About my short comings

I know that if I seek your face Lord, I will rise above all these circumstances
Lord, help me to not focus on my problems,
Help me to focus on you, to seek you, keep my eyes fixed on you

When I feel like I am about to drown
I know I can call on you
Day or night
Over and over
And you will never tire

You know me Lord
You know my weaknesses
And you will still forever meet me here

Ephesians 2:6 nlt
For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ

Matthew 14: 28-32
Peter said, “Lord, if it is really you, then command me to come to you on the water.” Jesus said, “Come.” And Peter left the boat and walked on the water to Jesus. 30 But when Peter saw the wind and the waves, he became afraid and began to sink. He shouted, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught Peter. Jesus said, “Your faith is small. Why did you doubt?” After they got into the boat, the wind became calm.

…we must not doubt Christ or we will sink
