wiww embracing my shape

wiww embracing my body shape

wiww posts are not only a way to keep me accountable to get dressed every most days
or to document my outfits for future reference
but wiww helps me embrace my body shape, to be comfortable in my skin.

God created us all unique and different.
each body shape is made perfect in His eyes.
and for some humorous reason he thought an apple shape/H shape would be perfect for me

that to have a larger belly and no waist is perfect for my short frame
or not … but whatever
it is what it is and i need to learn to embrace it
to be confident and joyful for the body he created perfect FOR ME.

Psalm 139:13-16 (NIV)
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

I am thankful for each day the Lord has given me
and am thankful for each part of me, even the bumpy, squishy ones!

Psalm 26:12 (NLT)
Now I stand on solid ground,
and I will publicly praise the Lord.

Psalm 26:12

I am going to quit complaining, be a little more active, eat a little better
and love the body God gave me.

  5. Great post Chrissy! I’m trying to embrace my post baby shape as well and it has been a hard road. Are you doing the ab workout? I have been a bit of a slacker in starting because my boys’ birthday was over the weekend. Need to get on it!
