weekly schedule frame tutorial…

I am also guest posting over at Honey Bear Lane today…
see my ruffle wreath tutorial!
I am kind of a calendar person
Not that I really care about what my calendar looks like
more like I have too many
I have a large one on our wall in the kitchen, it shows a month at a time.
I have a 5 X 7 one in my purse
I use the one on my cell phone
and I also have a week at a glance calendar, in the kitchen!
I know what you are thinking
how do I still forget things you ask.
because I never write everything on all the calendars!
I need to work on that!
The calendar I am best at updating is our weekly calendar.
best parts about it are…
it is dry erase and it was free to make.
Thanks to my friend Amber at MOPS for sharing this sweet idea…
Supplies used:
unused 11 X 14 frame
scrapbook paper I had already
paper cutter
tape.
First I took out all the old pictures that were in the frame.
take a look down memory lane…
 {I took a pictures of all the pictures that were in the frame }
I divided the height of the frame by 8, one for each day of the week and one for the header
I then cut a strip of paper to distinguish each day and the header.
I used colors to match my kitchen
each strip is 11 inches wide and 1.75 inches tall.
I taped them together on the back
I realized that the header paper was bit too busy to see my title
so I added a white piece of paper to make it stand out more.
All you do next is put the paper in the frame and
Viola
You just write on the glass with a dry erase marker

  1. This is great! I must try this.

  2. Cute! I would never remember to fill it up or look at it again LOL. We have an old fashion $1 calendar hanging in our pantry and I use it to write down the sports schedule for the boys.
