she is being watched

being watched
you are being watched
did i get your attention, good.

As Christian women we need to remember the outside world is watching us. They see something different in us and are not sure how to gain what we have. by following after the teachings of Christ, even when life takes us down a scary path, we are still able to know we are not alone and can rest at the feet of Jesus.

Titus 2:3-5 (NCV)
In the same way, teach older women to be holy in their behavior, not speaking against others or enslaved to too much wine, but teaching what is good. Then they can teach the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be wise and pure, to be good workers at home, to be kind, and to yield to their husbands. Then no one will be able to criticize the teaching God gave us.

This verse reminds that we all need a good mentor woman in our lives. Someone who we trust will give us godly advice, who will rebuke us in love, and encourage us to keep going. I have a few of these ladies in my life. I am not always good at following up with them, but they always know when to force themselves back into my life. We can reach out to these mentors and ask them to help us search God’s word for his instructions on how we are to care for our homes.

Luke 18:27 “And he said, the things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

we need to be careful in maintaining positive relations with any people who do a service for us (ie: lawn care providers, the dry-cleaner, waste management service ect.)  we reflect Christ to everyone we interact with.

colossians 3:23

Colossians 3:23 (NLT) Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NCV) Whatever work you do, do your best, because you are going to the grave, where there is no working, no planning, no knowledge, and no wisdom.

2 Timothy 2:15 (NCV) Make every effort to give yourself to God as the kind of person he will approve. Be a worker who is not ashamed and who uses the true teaching in the right way.

God wants us to be self-controlled and make good use of our time.
What we do represents God so let’s Honor God with Our Words, Actions & Our Best Work. We are ambassadors of Christ

2 Corinthians 5:20 (NIV) We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

Matthew 5:14-16 (NCV) “You are the light that gives light to the world. A city that is built on a hill cannot be hidden. And people don’t hide a light under a bowl. They put it on a lampstand so the light shines for all the people in the house. In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven.

she is prepared to do good work, and do her best.
