this year i am homeschooling the littles for preschool. not because i cant imagine them gone or scared they can not handle school. lets say the hollander in us is cheap! i digress. since the littles would be missing out on a Halloween school party, i thought we would do something fun for them. enter, tp mummy races! we headed to target for lunch, i mean a few groceries. it’s not my fault the concession counter is right when you walk in. again, i digress. we picked up a Cottonelle Triple Roll 12 pack.
pssst, hop on over to Target, and buy a Cottonelle Triple Roll 12 pack or larger – and you’ll get a FREE box of Kleenex with this coupon (get your coupon here). while supplies last. hello free!!
hello great deal! since the triple roll toilet paper was the only thing we needed, for our preschool class party, i picked up some candy as a reward for playing in the freezing cold! come one this is fun right?
i paired a big kid with each little. the big kids job was to be the mummy wrapper and the little was the mummy. each team lined up behind their triple roll and waited for me to yell go. first team to completely cover their mummy won candy first. ignore the fact that one person opted out of pregame pictures.
nancy and lenny won, only because i helped but who’s keeping track anyway! everyone received candy, so there were no tears. we did take pre-race pictures to prove the strength and durability of this TP ! I am alomost contemplating buying winter coats. they look warm right?
the racers then lined up, waited for the signal *BAM* off they went. across the yard, around the tree, and back to home plate. the crowd was cheering, neighbors stared awkwardly, and all was well. i can only imagine what people were thinking watching us wrap littles in TP and make them run around the front yard! HA
and that friends is not dollar store TP. that is cottonelle triple roll. i could not believe that it barely ripped after these girls ran around the yard! Everyone had a great time and the littles get to have fun preschool memories. Another Halloween party in the books.
