top ten favorite scriptures

I am going to share this week
my top ten favorite scriptures

(not in any particular order)

1. Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

2. Psalm 46:10 NIV
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

3. Proverbs 3:5-7 NIV
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.

4. Zephaniah 3:17 NCV
The Lord your God is with you;
the mighty One will save you.
He will rejoice over you.
You will rest in his love;
he will sing and be joyful about you.”

5. Matthew 11:28-30 NCV
“Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads, and I will give you rest.
Accept my teachings and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit, and you will find rest for your lives. 30 The burden that I ask you to accept is easy; the load I give you to carry is light.”

6. Philippians 4:6-7 NIV
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

7. Philippians 1:3-5 NIV
I thank my God every time I remember you.
In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy
because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,

8. Galatians 2:20 NIV
have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

9. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 NIV
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

10. Romans 8:28-30 NCV
We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. They are the people he called, because that was his plan.
God knew them before he made the world, and he chose them to be like his Son so that Jesus would be the first born of many brothers and sisters.
God planned for them to be like his Son; and those he planned to be like his Son, he also called; and those he called, he also made right with him; and those he made right, he also glorified.

In Philippians Chapter 4 verse 8 We are told “if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things” . One way we can keep our minds focused on God’s word is to display it.
I love being able to fill my walls with the word of God.

psalm 46
