Todays Revelation

todays revelationm a study on the book of revelation

Today’s revelation is going to be a mini series on what I am learning in the book of Revelations.
Get it.

Revelations 2:18 (NIV)
To the Church in Thyatira “To the angel of the church in Thyatira write:
These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze.

Let’s break this down a little bit.
~ Again John is writing to one of the 7 churches.
~ The Angel is a messenger for the church, often referred to as one of the 7 stars.
~ The son of God is Jesus
~ “Eyes are like blazing fire”: meaning that one glance from Jesus can pierce through deception and impurity
~ “Whose feet are like burnished bronze” : meaning the righteous judgment of Christ, He will pursue evil and stamp it out

What we learn here is that Jesus is Holy and a righteous judge.
Jesus can see right through our charades, our masks, and get right to the heart of what and why we are doing things. We can not hide anything from the LORD.
Since He sees all that is taking place He will judge accordingly.
He can trample sin under His foot and hold us accountable for the sins we have committed.

Grace and Mercy…
so thankful for those two words.
For those who have placed their faith in Jesus and make Him LORD of their lives there is eternal hope and security.
There is Salvation and life everlasting with Jesus in Heaven.

If you have not placed your faith in Jesus and have questions, please leave a comment or email me and we can chat about it. Jesus loves you and wants you to live with Him forever no matter what your past or current life looks like.

  1. Are you studying this book on your own or through a bible study? I’m also studying Revelation, through Bible Study Fellowship, and it’s been fantastic so far. Our God is an awesome God!
