its starting to look like thanksgiving

thanksgiving

because we have put our motives in check i think its fair to move on to the actual thanksgiving decorating. i do not think there is a right or way wrong to do this step as long as your heart is focused on Christ. i loved spending time last month finding simple ways to decorate. last year I wrote a thanksgiving decor round up post. so this year i wanted to take my pinterest ideas and replicate them in a more simple manner. i anticipate having the aroma of pumpkin and cinnamon in the air and the temperature warm but not uncomfortable. I have never set a “formal” table for thanksgiving. I felt the need to practice. using a very small budget i headed to the dollar store. I needed to buy supplies for a 10 person table. here a peek at what i came up with.

dollar store thanksgiving table supplies

supplies purchased: orange plastic plates, paper doilies, plastic water goblets, candle sticks. candle holders, sparkly pipe cleaners, wrapping paper supplies i had: pine cones, silverware, white cardstock, mini pumpkins, turkey, vase of acorns, napkins
