she sings praises

She is called to worship, she is called to sing praises to His name. the Bible says over and over again that we were created to praise our God. The king of King, Lord of Lords, the Great I AM. I took some time and looked through scriptures to find verses that remind us to be in constant worship.

Deuteronomy 6:13 (NCV) Respect the Lord your God. You must worship him and make your promises only in his name
Matthew 4:10 (NCV) Jesus said to the devil, “Go away from me, Satan! It is written in the Scriptures, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’”
Psalm 98:4 (NLT) Shout to the Lord, all the earth; break out in praise and sing for joy!

Psalm 98:4

Isaiah 49:13 (NLT) Sing for joy, O heavens! Rejoice, O earth! Burst into song, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted his people and will have compassion on them in their suffering.
Romans 12:1 (NIV) Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Psalm 95:6 (NLT) Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker,
Psalm 71:23 (NLT) I will shout for joy and sing your praises, for you have ransomed me.
Psalm 79:13 (NIV) Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will praise you forever; from generation to generation we will proclaim your praise.
Psalm 99:3 (NLT) Let them praise your great and awesome name. Your name is holy!
Psalm 47:6 (NIV) Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises.

Psalm 47:6

Psalm 147:1 (NIV) Praise the Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
Psalm 150:6 (ESV) Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Psalm 135:1-3 (NLT) Praise the Lord! Praise the name of the Lord! Praise him, you who serve the Lord, you who serve in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God. Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; celebrate his lovely name with music.

Psalm 135:1-3

1 Peter 2:9 (NIV) But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
Psalm 100:1-5 (NLT) Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy.
Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
