last week i shared about my one word for 2014. i shared some of my goals for the year too. at the time i had not decided on my new 2014 planner.
i know what you are thinking, i probably should have thought of these things before the new year.
well i didn’t and now i am so drop it.
i spent the better part of yesterday evening searching planners online. i read reviews, i pondered prices, and i even designed a few custom covers, just in case.
i need a planner that will work for my whole family. there are 5 of us, and the calendar can get full, fast. i am not extremely picky about my planner but did have a few must-have requirements:
– under 50.00 BEFORE shipping
– a two page monthly calendar spread
– cute cover
– daily calendar pages
– has extra space for added notes/meal schedule
originally i wanted a planner that worked for our family schedule and my blog schedule, but i decided i like to keep those two separate. or i’ll get too overwhelmed. By the end of the evening i had chosen a family planner and a blog planner.
for our family, i chose a super cute planner from Plum Paper Designs.
friends i am so geeked about this planner. the cover is fun and it included all of my requirements..
per their website:
– This is a 12 MONTH REGULAR PLANNER that can begin in ANY month you choose.
– Planner Size: 7.5″ x 9″
– 12 Monthly LAMINATED TABS
– Clear Frost Plastic Cover
– Personalized Name on Cover
– Week, Month, and Year-at-a-glance pages
– 2 Notes Pages Per Month
– Contacts Page
– 2 Sided Pocket Folder
i had mine start in feb. BAM, no wasted month since i started late in choosing a calendar. problem solved.
as for my blog planner, i happened to run across one last night that i am eager to start using. I had not idea that my friend, Jacqueline Ernst had just created one. It has EVERYTHING you need to keep track of our blogging goals and more.
did i mention it’s very affordable? Since it’s a PDF, i will send it to office max to be printed and bound, once we are out of this winter storm. I did print January’s pages at home just to get started!
okay it’s your turn, show me what planners you are using this year…
