National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month

National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month

October is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
whether be miscarriage, still born, abortion, SIDS, or any other loss of a baby.

“When a child loses his parent, they are called an orphan. When a spouse loses her or his partner, they are called a widow or widower. When parents lose their child, there isn’t a word to describe them.” (Reagan)

This month the silence is broken and discussions are had.
This is a month of hurting for so many woman and men
although the loss of babies is remembered everyday
National days/months of remembrance sometimes make the hurt surface all over again.

This day is very dear to my heart as I have lost 4 babies.
I have shared part of our loss on the blog last year.
please take some time today and pray for those hurting over the loss of a baby.

The necklace that is shown in the first picture is one That I hold dear.
You see those 3 white pearls? those are my babies that live in my nest.
They are ages 14, 9, and 6.
This next picture is one that most people do not see, the back of my necklace.
These 2 ivory pearls are special.
These pearls are for the two babies I met before they went to heaven.
