my craft style

my eclectic craft style that leans a little more towards re-purpose, reuse, recycle but does not turn the cheek to what’s on trend (ie: watercolor, chevron, polka dots)”

One of the fun things about participating in this 31 day series is that I get talk about things you are interested in.
One friend suggested I talk about my craft style.

If I had to sum up my craft style in one word it would be Eclectic.
If I had to describe the phrase Eclectic craft style it would go something like this.
“A style that is not contained into one category, does not exclude any craft medium, and does not value projects based on cost or likability. A style that leans a little more towards re-purpose, reuse, recycle but does not turn the cheek to what’s on trend (ie: watercolor, chevron, polka dots)”

Does that make sense to you?

So what are some of my favorite craft supplies:
~ My sewing machine and glue gun(s) are life necessities (yes I have multiple guns)
~ fabric of course
~ mod podge
~ paint – all kinds acrylic, fabric, latex, spray, watercolor
~ beads, especially wooden ones
~ organic natural items (sticks, acorns, pumpkins, leaves, wheat, straw)
~ yarn

that’s only a few of my favorite supplies
seriously if you saw my craft room you would laugh, cringe and maybe call hoarders.
I have just about every thing to make every craft.
It’s a problem, I fall head over heals for every new craft buy tons of supplies and then move on to the next one.

I get a lot of ideas and inspiration from blogs I find on pinterest.
I try to not directly copy their project because I like adding my own little twist.
Sometimes that’s not an option, esp when I follow a step by step tutorial
but that’s what they are there for right?
