One of my favorite memories as a child was going to Michigan’s Adventure as a family. We would arrive right when they opened and stay until close. We would pack a lunch in the cooler and leave it in the car, once everyone was ready for a food break we headed out to the parking lot and ate our food. As soon as our bellies were full we were ready for more fun, sun, and of course water slides. I knew that when I grew up I wanted to take my children to Michigan’s Adventure as well.
Fast forward and I am mom of 3 kiddos. We have been going to Michigan’s Adventure almost ever summer since my oldest was 2 years old. (She is now 15) We have a routine and know what to expect. Hubby takes the older ones on roller coasters and I hang out in the water park with the younger ones. It’s a win win really.
This year is the the park’s 60th anniversary. To celebrate they are bringing back the animals. Funland Farm is featuring llamas, alpacas, a mini horse and a mini donkey!
Did I mention that this is two parks for the price of ONE?!? Yup, a water park and amusement park. Season passes are a really great way to get the most bang for your buck too.
If that wasn’t enough to make you want to try it check out this list of 100 reasons why you would love Michigan’s Adventure.
I’ll share a ton of pictures of our trip when we get back.
