it’s time for { Fat Friday }

I have a confession
I am lazy
I make excuses
I lack motivation
I am insecure
I am developing “bloggers butt”
{the term “bloggers butt” was taken from Michelle at Life buy the Beach}

You would think my insecurity would be motivation enough.
I am lost at how to make myself work out.
We recently cancelled our YMCA membership because we were
not using it enough to justify the cost.
My SIL graciously gave me a 30 day shred DVD by Jillian Michael’s
but I have not once put it in the DVD player.
I only think about the DVD when I write my Fat Friday post.
I have been praying and begging God to help motivate me and change my attitude.
I feel as though I was prompted to eat better
but then made more excuses for the exercise part of it.
Today I am pleading and begging God on my knees to change me.
To help me to love and care for my body.
I am going to tape this verse next to my bathroom mirror to help motivate me.

It’s my weight loss verse:

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NCV)

“You should know that your body is a temple for the Holy Spirit who is in you. You have received the Holy Spirit from God. So you do not belong to yourselves,because you were bought by God for a price. So honor God with your bodies.”

On to the digits:
Oh yeah baby
I lost last weeks weight gain!
What a great way to start this change!
I am weighing in at 140.5lbs right now and hope to weigh 125lbs
in the next 30 days or so.
That’s big numbers for me!
