This week for my Friday recap I am linking up with  jeannett to share glimpses of the life behind the blog! Here is the last 5 days via Instagram:

My oldest daughter turned 13 this week. We started celebrating on Friday with a friend sleepover party. The littles and I made her birthday cake while she was at school still.

All the ingredients and color dyes are included. The instructions are so easy to follow.

The girls were fed well, I mean a lot!

and of course we crafted. Using canvas’ and sharpies the girls each made a wall hanging to take home. This was my sample project.

Frank’s actual birthday was on Monday and I thought I would surprise her with another cake. this time we made the Charm City Zebra cake, I divided the batter into 3 pans and made the center one purple and brown! I forgot to take a picture of it finished sorry.

This here, is gold. It was the 2nd to last step in finishing my #boermanclosetredo!

50 ft Ethernet cable

With the cable fromthe previous picture I was able to actually move my PC over and use the new desk. I have a few final decorative details to finish before i can show you the whole thing.

  1. I’ve seen those cakes and wanted to try them, but my grocery store had them at $5 each so I figured I would wait for a sale.
