Friday coffee date … Handy man special

Hey friend, thank you for joining me for coffee this week.
Let’s pray…

Dear Heavenly Father, I love you. I am so thankful for all that you are doing in the lives of my friends and family. Lord I come to you and lift up my dear friends who are struggling with infertility. Lord I ask you give her extra peace this Mother’s Day weekend. Lord I ask that make her feel loved and worthy. Father it breaks my heart to see your servants struggling to give life. I know you have a plan and I trust in that Lord. I know you will be glorified in this situation. Father you are the healer, sustainer and creator of life. Father I life up my sweet friend Ruth. Please Lord continue to heal her. Restore her body and make her stronger than before. Father we have seen unexplained medical miracles in her healing already. You are the only answer for each step in her recovery and we are so blessed to witness your handy work. Lord I pray for Heather. Father please remove any insecurities from her heart and mind. Help me know how to support her, lift her up, and just love her more. Jesus, she has such a soft heart and longs to feel you. Please show yourself in a tangible way Lord. Please bring people in her life that encourage her, love her, and that show her abundant grace. Father I know you will never leave her, please help her feel that today. Father, we are thankful that no matter what you love us. As long as we seek your face, love you, and place our full trust in you, we will have eternal life. In Jesus precious name, amen.

If we were having coffee today I would tell you that the weekends forecast is not so nice. We went from 80 yesterday to 55 today. I know right, rude. Mother’s Day is supposed to be rainy and cold.

If we were having coffee today I would tell you that Sunday is also my little Lenny’s 4th birthday. FOUR people. She is moving out of the toddler years and is now a preschooler. Say what? I would tell you that I have nothing planned for her birthday. No party, no gift yet, nada, zilch, nothing. I would tell you that as long as a pink cakes shows Sunday sometime she won’t even notice. And that is one of the many things I love about her.

If we were having coffee today I would tell you that our house projects are coming along great. The dry wall repairs are complete, and we were blessed to have had a friend take care of that. Thanks J.

If we were having coffee today I would tell you I am so excited to get to painting the hallway and front closet. It’s a sickness I know, but I like painting. I am not painting the hallway only because it’s a large awkward space, and has a pretty high ceiling. Our friend N has graciously offered to do it, he is a master painter in real life.

If we were having coffee today I would tell you my sides are aching. I took frank to a cardio hip hop class last night. And let me tell you, these hips have not made moves like that in quite some time. But don’t worry, momma has not lost her groove. I can not wait to go back next week.

If we’re having coffee today you may ask why I put creamer in my coffee if I am fasting from sugar. I would tell you that I totally failed. I slacked, tried again, and then just gave up. Sue me. Jesus is not holding it over my head so neither should you.

If you were here for coffee I know you would not be able to stop admiring my new necklace. My sweet friend Jill had a giveaway and I won. Yup, I am that lucky. Jealousy is a sin you know, just saying. This necklace is super special to me, not only because it was made by an online friend of mine, who I met in real life, but there is a secret within the necklace. The front of the momma nest shows 3 eggs, for my 3 kids. On the back there are 2 little eggs. One for each baby I chose to not give life. I find my self holding the necklace often while wearing it and just rubbing the two little eggs on the back. Reminding myself that I will meet my littles someday. That I am forgiven and loved even though I did something so awful. Thanks melody and jill for making this so special for me.

If you were here for coffee I would probably tell you it’s time to go. That either you can grab a paint brush and help me paint or you gots to go. Love you friend and I look forward to coffee next week. Xoxo
