Friday Coffee date…

Hi there friends!
I am so glad you are here.
i missed not hanging out last week.
Once again life got in the way and there was not enough hours in the day to blog…
Before we jump in to caching up let’s pray.
Father,
we come before you today humbled by how gracious and merciful you are. Lord we are truly blessed to be loved by the great I AM. Father God, thank you for your love, your compassion, and your forgiveness; for sending your son to die so that we may have life. Father as we get ready to spend time together today I ask that you bless our time and protect it. Please do not let Satan destroy the fellowship we are having. Father I know that Satan will continue to tempt us but you promise to not allow us to be tempted more than we can bear, and you also promise to always provide away out. Thank you Lord. Amen
What a week it’s been!
The Lord has shown up in so many wonderful ways this week.
I was able to listen to a dear friend share a story of miraculous answer to prayer.
I was humbled to know that prayers I have been praying daily for a friend have been felt.
During my quiet time this week the Lord was reminding me of some struggles I have. Especially ones that pertain to the upcoming influence conference I am going to next week.

Galatians 6:4 (NCV)says:

Each person should judge his own actions and not compare himself with others. Then he can be proud for what he himself has done.5 Each person must be responsible for himself.

This spoke to me so clearly. As women, especially women bloggers, we are constantly comparing ourselves to each other. We compare our looks, houses, sins, hobbies, achievements, followers, writing style, affiliates.
I have to remind myself. Who am I doing this for?
me, or the Lord.
If I am glorying God then I am doing what’s best for myself and my readers. regardless if other bloggers have 2x the amount of followers/pageviews. I know God is bringing to my blog people who need to be here!

Galatians 6:11 says:

See what large letters I use to write this myself.

Paul was calling out the people and trying get their attention. He was not afraid to be bold. I loved the way he said used large letters. It made me think of CAPS LOCK.  when someone states something in boldness or CAPITAL letters it really grabs your attention. I did some self examining to see if I am being BOLD in my life, in my blogging, and in social media.

I really hope that when people meet me next week they feel like I am the same “online” as I am in real life.
Seek FIRST his Kingdom…
not check your email, texts, and instagram. then get in the Word.
I for one am guilty of not seeking Him first.
I will say that when I seek Him first all things fall into place.
No it’s not perfect but there is a peace midst the chaos that only God can provide.
So friend.. How was your week? What has God said to you this week? What verses would you like to share with us?
