I have been using Photoshop for a few years to edit my images
and to create text pictures, ect.

that was… until last week
for some reason it crashed on my PC and will not re-install

i freaked at first because i have some of my favorite font combos installed there
i decided to head over to picmonkey to edit a few images for some up coming blog posts
i forgot how much i loved it, the free version is amazing
there are some stand out fonts, great editing tools, did i mention FREE

i thought i would share my 4 favorite font combos you can create for free with picmonkey

it gets better… for just $33.00 for a year you can get the “upgraded version”
way cheaper than photoshop

if you need more font ideas i shared some  chalkboard fonts here
I also have a Pinterest board loaded with ideas

(i am not a photographer so picmonkey is perfect for what i need it for)

*this is not a sponosored post, just sharing my love for fonts and picmoney with you..

  2. If you’re looking for another Photoshop alternative, Corel Paintshop Pro is fantastic! It’s only $60-$70 [[which I think is quite reasonable for photo editing software…?]] and it literally does everything that Photoshop does. So, if you’re looking for a reasonable investment, I highly recommend it. =]

  3. i’m right there with ya girl. i do about half of my blogging from my work computer before work or at lunch and it doesn’t have photoshop right now. picmonkey (along with misc. iphone apps) has become perfect for adjusting photo sizes, adding text and little graphics, etc. great font combinations you have there. those are probably my most used, along with Sue Ellen Fransisco.
