the ever-changing wreath

Fall wreath

i shared how to make this wreath a few years ago on the honey bear lanes blog.

Its been hanging on our back door since. Our regular front door wreath did not survive the move. I decided it was time to give my old wreath the front door spotlight.

you may remember these little flowers from my welcome hoop. again another project the kids got their hands on. i was able to salvage the flowers and knew they would be perfect on a fall wreath.

I am planning on keeping the wreath on our door all year long. I love the neutral base that it has and did not want to change that. so the seasonal embellishments will be added using pins. i just used plain sewing pins. not the ones with colored heads but flat tops.

I may take the wreath down just for halloween. I have a cute halloween hoop decoration I want to use. Other than that it will lose the pink and blue flowers for thanksgiving and get all white ones for winter!
