Dressing the rectangle body part 2

a detailed guide on how to dress a rectangle body shape or a H shape body

If you have a Rectangle body shape aka H shape (part one here),
it’s almost like the Hourglass but without the defined waist.
H or rectangle shapes have similar width of shoulders, hips with a less defined waist.

Bottoms for Rectangle Body Shapes

What to avoid?
> Straight lines from head to toe
> High waisted pants
> Cropped tops
> Boxy jackets or coats as well double breasted coats and jackets; boxy pleats

Instead draw attention to head or foot area with statement jewelry or fashion forward shoes. No detail at the waist except for vertical details and seams.

Be careful of pocket detail on jackets. Look for jet pockets that are in the same color as the jacket which don’t emphasize the horizontal effect that pockets can create.
