daily 2014 goals

i dread this time of year. everyone seems to be making big goals, lists, and resolutions they will never keep. yes i have been one of those people. but this year i want it to be different. I want my goals to be intentional, and inline with God’s goals for my life. not my list of how to make life better for me, but His list.

I am starting my “goal” list by choosing one word, one word that the Lord laid on my heart. One word that will connect each item on my list.
one word daily

you see i want my one word to be in the daily, the mundane, the everyday. I am not going to try to focus on just one area i want to focus on every area. I have not completely figured out what God wants this to look like but i hope to share with you as he reveals the plan to me.

follow me daily

i am starting my daily focus by memorizing a scripture this week.

And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23

for now i am focusing on the daily denying me and taking up my cross. to daily seek his face above all else.
will you help me stay accountable to this focus? how can i help you? How can i daily pray for you?
