crying out

crying out

yesterday i was waving my white flag, and crying out. i was feeling defeated and at a loss. nothing major happened, my kids are fine and my marriage is strong. i am just dealing with a situation which caused major disappointment. i reached out via social media for words of encouragement. not for a pity party, not for affirmation but for God’s truth. i don’t care what some people say, GOD IS IN SOCIAL MEDIA. is he present and working. he used my cry of desperation to fill me and bring me closer to him. He allowed you to fill my inbox with scripture and prayers. especially not knowing what my issue was, i was blessed. your words of encouragement, of God’s truth picked me up and carried me through my day. and again i am holding tight to those truths today.

i wanted to share with you the scripture that were shared with me yesterday! comments from friends in ()

Exodus 14:14 = The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.- (be still, The Lord, your God will fight for you. Whatever it is, He’s got it!)

Psalm 121 = I look up to the mountains does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.
Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. The Lord himself watches over you! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever. (does it for me!! Love it!!)

Psalm 51:12 = Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me

1 Chronicles 29:11-12 = Everything in the heavens and earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as being in control of everything. Riches and honor come from you alone, and you are the ruler of all mankind; your hand controls power and might, and it is at your discretion that men are made great and given strength. (Memorized this many years ago for a Crown Financial class, and it has helped me through many a trial. The sovereignty of God is such a comfort to me!)

2 Chronicles 16:9 = For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him….

Psalm 34:17-19 = The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles,but the Lord delivers him from them all;

1 peter 2:9 = But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (hope this is water for your thirsty soul.)

John 13:10 = Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.” (and you are clean)

i hope these verses speak to you as much as they are to me right now! thank you friends for allowing me again to see God working online and in my heart! xoxo
