All About Him…

I almost never do online surveys or quizzes but I saw this one on Jenni’s Blog and thought it was great. It is the perfect way to celebrate the wonderful men in our lives. It also tests how much I really know! SO here goes nothing…
1. He’s sitting in front of the TV, what is on the screen? ESPN, ESPN 2, or Spike TV. Shows a real Man would watch…sometimes I catch him watching HGTV, he’ll never admit it though.

2. You’re out to eat; what kind of dressing does he get on his salad? Ranch…and I am not talking just enough for taste. This man makes ranch soup instead of ranch on a salad…

3. What’s one food he doesn’t like? Mustard, Olives, and anything that lives in water

4. You go out to the bar. What does he order? Jack and Coke or Captain and Coke.

5. Where did he go to high school? Rockford Senior HighSchool

6. What size shoe does he wear? 10.5-11 depending on the shoe

7. If he was to collect anything, what would it be? Comic books and baseball cards.

He still has most of the ones from when he was younger

8. What is his favorite type of sandwich? Honey Ham or Turkey and Cheese, Lots of cheese

9. What would he eat every day if he could? Chips and salsa. Maybe he would add beans and cheese to the dip but anything Mexican is perfect for him…Maybe that’s why he chose me!

10. What is his favorite cereal? OK, so I had to ask on this one…I really had no idea. Cinnamon toast crunch.

11. What would he never wear? Sweater vests…He is very metro and wears most things but I have never even seen him look at these.

12. What is his favorite sports team? The Pistons of course. He also enjoys the Tigers but after that he kind of just rots for whoever…at least that’s what I think!

13. Who will he vote for? John McCain

14. Who is his best friend? Joe Eitel…I fall a close second.

15. What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn’t do? Eat everyone’s Mexican leftovers before you even have a chance too…Geeze!

16. How many states has he lived in? The one and only Michigan

17. What is his heritage? Irish and Dutch…Very very Dutch! Try shopping with him once…

18. You bake him a cake for his birthday; what kind of cake? Triple chocolate fudge cake with triple chocolate fudge frosting, mint chocolate chip ice cream on the side. What can I say, he loves chocolate!

19. Did he play sports in high school? Yes, He played basketball. He was very good. He did not play much for the school system but at many local gyms and parks. He “had” great ups back then! Sorry Honey.

20. What could he spend hours doing? Sleeping in bed with a fan on for days. Jake works third shift and enjoys his time with us but that cuts into his sleep time. He tries to catch up on the weekends if we let him.

Does he belong to any men’s organizations? No. He is starting a accountability group with some close friends and I think that’s as close to an organization as he gets.Jake is such an amazing person. He is a wonderful husband and a devoted father. He truly loves the Lord and that is so obvious from the first moment you meet him. Thanks Jake for being so great
