A new start…

…a new start at blogging again. This time around it is not just about blogging our day to day activities but sharing my inner thoughts. Mainly my thoughts about growing deeper in my faith. I am not doing this to throw my faith in your face or say that I am better than anyone. I am doing this to be held accountable for my actions. I am looking to you friends for advice and to help me stay on track. Please be honest with me and help keep me on the path that will glorify God.
Although it has been over a month since my trip to Guatemala I still feel a slight “high”. I feel that the Lord has something grand planned for my life and I need to be patient (not easy), be still (try doing this with 3 children) and listen (have you heard my kids lately, not easy to do).
I learned so much about God on my trip. I learned that if we faithfully seek him daily he will be so present in our daily activities. I learned that no matter what the task to seek Him for guidance by praying all day and be thankful when bringing my requests to him.
In my devotion today God told me: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.” Psalm 32:8. Studying this verse today I learned that God longs to guide us with love and wisdom rather than punishment. He offers to teach us the best way to go. I learned we need to accept the advice God has given in this Bible and not be stubborn mules.
I am so pumped up to see what God has planned for me. I will admit I am a little nervous too. As we know God has plans for us that are not always what we would consider comfortable!

Thanks for listening to me; I look forward to sharing my day to day life with you!
