I know what you are thinking… Don’t you already have a smart phone Chrissy? The answer is no, I don’t. And as of right now I still don’t. *enter sad blogger face*
Okay not really sad, okay maybe a little but not crying. We decided it was time to get Frank a phone. Since she is getting older and has started babysitting, it’s safer for her to have her own phone. BUT, as a mom of a tween i am not about to pay over $100 for a phone that she will probably lose or break in the first month of owning it. Not mention the price of a Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web plan. I headed to walmart to purchase little Lennie’s bath bubbles, for some reason I can only find the kind we like at Walmart. While we were there I spotted a little section that may forever change my life…

Yes friends, that’s the Walmart Family Mobile section. It only took me a few minutes to read over the product information before I was sold. I chose the Concord phone and went with the Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web plan for 39.88+ tax a month. Now frank is going to be responsible for her own bill after the first month. I do plan on dropping her down to the unlimited talk and text, $29.88+ tax, because no tween really needs an unlimited data plan when she can use wifi at home.

Let me share with you the top 5 reason why I chose Walmart Family Mobile, and why you should give it a try too:

  1. No Contract – can I get an amen! This is by far the best part.
  2. Affordable phones – I only paid 49.88+ tax for the Concord phone. There are several other models available for less than $100. That’s perfect for anyone on a budget!
  3. Cheap(est) Wireless Plans – for only $39.88 a month you can get Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web, or for $29.88 a month you can go with the unlimited talk/text plan.
  4. Flexibility – Using your Family Mobile account, allows you to add lines, remove lines, or change plans without the worry. This is great when you are on a budget and need to change your plan often.
  5. Ease – No credit check, no contract, no credit card needed to start a line. It only takes about 10 minutes to activate your phone at home. Some locations offer a wireless sction where they can activate your phone for you, saving you even more time.

Are you sold? I am not kidding around when I say Walmart Family Mobile services helps you stretch your dollars. The Hubby and i are probably going to switch over our phones to the same plan soon. I just need to decide which phone I want!
