10 DIY home improvement projects

DIY home improvement

Since purchasing on new home I am slight obsessed with DIY home improvement projects. There is just something humbling about using my hands to make something better. When I say better I do not mean perfect, showy, or brag worthy. I just mean better as in full of love. Sometimes there is lots of yelling, frustration, mess ups, giving up, trying again, and internet searching before the labor can be called love.

I know I am not alone here.

I have a few more DIY projects I want to check off my list this summer.

  3. Those closet doors would look even betterred

  4. I really like that house number plaque! I so LOVE home improvements…and yet it’s one area where I can become discontent really quickly! So I have to be careful not to look at too many home improvement blogs or dream of all the things I’d change in our house. It’s hard to balance the crafty side of me with the materialistic side of me! All that to say, I actually really love the “bones” of our house, but I have a long list of beautification projects I’d do if we had a budget for it.

    • girl you are speaking to my heart. I get caught up in all the same. For this list i only searched for things i actually wanted to update, and just scroll pinterest and say oohh i want that. it was an intentional list my hubby and I made.
